二年前のことです。平田広明さんから「きぼうのバンブー」を読みたい、というお電話をいただきました。
その年の8月。「青空」に出演していただいた時に、このようなものを書いたので…とお渡ししたのが小説「あたっくNo.1」と絵本「きぼうのバンブー」でした。
バンブーが、読み聞かせになるとは自分自身、想像もしていないことだったので、もちろん快諾です。
バンブーに魂と息が吹きこまれ、声として世に出たのは2018年11月10日、NHK文化センター広島教室でした。


あのときの記憶が、自粛中に動画「きぼうのバンブー」を制作するきっかけとなったのです。

今回は「青空」の小太郎でのお願いでしたが、いつの日か「バンブー」も読んでほしいなーと願ってます。


バンブーに息と魂を吹きこんでくれた二人目は小宮有紗さんです。
先月、7/4のファンミーティングでの朗読。絵を描いたハッピーちゃんと二人でズズーッ、涙でした。
その空間に参加させてもらって、思ったことがあったんです。
ファンの人たちの笑顔を見てて、みんな、こういう場を待っていたんだーということでした。そこからだったのです。「あたっく」を飛ばしといてボーッと生きてんじゃねえよーとなり、8月に、やはり、作品をやろーと思っての準備でした。
バンブーが繋いでくれた、後押しでした。


だけど、
ストレートプレイもだめ。
朗読劇もだめ。
全ての原因はお客さんへの感染リスク回避。
だとするならば、わかりました、ハイ、配信を勉強します。やるよー必ず。
